Tulips in Winter

An exploration of the life of the enigmatic 17th century philosopher, whose ideas still influence present day thinkers. Michelene Wandor's play, inspired by various paintings and etchings, imagines a world in which Spinoza appears in Rembrandt's "Night Watch" and is courted by one of Cromwell's spies.
