If you have never experienced depression, it is hard to understand how someone with friends, prospects and ambitions can find themselves with a crushing weight their chest, unable to enjoy anything in life, and even considering ending it all.  
 
In this week’s Sunday Surgery feature we will speak to sufferers and gain their perspective on their depression and the reasons behind it. Hearing from those who have sought help or helped themselves, we’ll find out how they learnt to see the light again.
