40 Years of Wonder

2x60'

Peter White presents Stevie Wonder’s first major radio interview for 10 years, in a landmark, two-part documentary about the original Motown genius. Forty years since his first Number One, Fingertips (Part 2), he is revered as one of the towering figures of 20th century popular music. His voice has been imitated by countless others and his catalogue of songs and best-selling albums rivals Elvis and The Beatles. In July 2003, Peter White visited Stevie Wonder at his purpose-built studio in Los Angeles, Wonderland, to talk about his life in music. The result was to be one of the most revealing and enthralling interviews Stevie has ever given. This documentary also features exclusive interviews and reminiscences from the likes of Dionne Warwick, Paul McCartney, Smokey Robinson, Herbie Hancock and Esther Gordy Edwards.
