CEO
Bruce Hyman has produced over 150 plays, musicals and live comedy shows in the West End, regions, Europe and on Broadway. They include premières by David Mamet, Ted Whitehead, Larry Shue, Mike Stott, Doug Lucie, Anthony Minghella, Jean Anouilh, Michael Frayn, Eduardo de Filippo, Don Webb, Mary O’Malley, Larry Kramer, Christopher Hampton.

His TV and radio productions include Bill Hicks, Jessye Norman, Adelaide Hall, Emo Philips, Jerry Sadowitz, Jackie Mason as well as a weekly column for BBC Scotland and Radio 5 live. For other detailed credits see this website.

 

HELEN CHATTWELL

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Helen Chattwell joined Delaney Lund Knox Warren, one of London’s leading advertising agencies, as a Producer in 1992. In 1996 she was appointed Head of Television and board director. A number of her commercials received national and international creative awards
 
In 2001 Helen joined Above The Title as Head of Production. She is now Managing Director and a shareholder of the company.  She has been responsible for a number of radio productions for ATT, including the Sony Award Winning ‘Night Class’. Jo Wheeler

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Jo studied English at University College London, where she was features editor for the radio station, Rare FM. Since joining Above the Title in 2002, she has worked on the production and development of a number of programmes for Radios 2, 3 and 4.

Jo has also had a number of ideas commissioned for Above the Title, including Pottermanship with Stephen Fry, The 100 Club presented by Robert Elms, Mike Thomson’s The Race Course & Out in Force, Anything You Can Do with Julia McKenzie and The Kinks story. As development manager she continues to run the commissioning rounds, as well as managing a number of productions.

 

LAURA HARRIS

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Laura studied Archaeology at Durham university.  She joined Above The Title in 2001 as a Production Assistant, and worked on a number of programmes for Radios 3 and 4.

In 2004 Laura left the company to spend a year in Australia, where she spent time working at a local radio station in Canberra.  She returned to Above The Title in June 2005 as a Production Manager, and now manages various productions across the networks.

 

ruth waiteS

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Ruth completed her Master’s degree in Modernism and Modern Writers in 2003. She joined Above the Title in July 2004, after teaching English in France for 8 months.
