Kirsten O’Brien appears in ‘Solution’ pilot

August 13th, 2009

img_6587This morning we had a dry run of the Christian O’Connell Solution; honing the already very funny jokes and fine tuning the already very sharp running order.

Christian and, ‘Solution’ regular, Bob Mills were on fine form putting the world to rights and solving all problems great and small.

We were joined by CBBC Presenter Kirsten O’Brien who revealed a knack for making sandwiches with her feet and helped us solve the problem of piracy in the English Channel.

Above the Title goes Green

August 5th, 2009

gringo_logoAbove the Title has joined the green revolution, by switching their car company to Griingo, the only company that offers both biodiesel and hybrid technology making them the greenest transport service operating in London.

Media production can be a hectic environment with guests being rushed from studio to studio, so we’re delighted to be helping make London a little bit greener.

They even offset any emissions produced by 200% so our transport is now actually carbon negative.

On The Blog finishes recording

July 30th, 2009

attwebsite-4This week we finished recording the latest series of On The Blog - Above the Title’s Radio 2 sitcom

Caroline Quentin, Andy Taylor, Simon Greenall, DeNica Fairman and writers Kris Dyer and Dave Marks had great fun in the studio creating the “cast of thousands” feel to the show.

This series takes Andrew Glasgow to new places: twittering co-workers, off the wall housemates and a semi-domesticated fox. But he’s never too far away from his mother!

July 3rd, 2009

annetta-hoffnung-for-websiteAnnetta Hoffnung, wife of the late Gerard, joined us at the Soundhouse Studios to record Hoffnung: Drawn to Music, our latest Radio 4 comedy written by the great Alan Stafford.

Real-life Annetta plays a cameo of herself to complement the superbly interpreted ‘Young Annetta’ played by Gina McKee.

Annetta was delighted with Matt Lucas’ faithful rendition of her husband’s voice and character.

Hoffnung will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in the Autumn.
