Radio 2 submissions ready to roll

April 24th, 2009Tune in this Saturday to hear an exploration of the life and work of Charles-Valentin Alkan, a neighbour and contemporary of Chopin, and asks why the influential and gifted composer has been eclipsed by his Romantic counterparts.
The programme goes out on BBC Radio 3 this Saturday 25th April at 12.15pm

The new Radio 2 series, Bonjour Monsieur Aznavour! is coming along nicely. Producers Laura Metcalfe and Jo Wheeler are in the studio today with presenter, Petula Clark.
The 4 week series begins on Friday 22nd May.
